Kim Murphy was walking home with friends in South Woodham Ferrers, Chelmsford when she was attacked by Lauren Field.
The 21-year-old was attacked by Field who was given a four year jail sentence at Chelmsford Crown Court as well as a 12 month sentence for an attack on one of Kim’s friends.

Kim says,"I remember putting my hands up to cover my face and I realised I could feel my teeth through my cheek, there was a huge hole in my face. I’m really lucky to be alive because the slices on my neck were millimeters from my jugular, so it could have been fatal."
