The mosquito-borne disease, Zika virus is assumed to be responsible for causing under-development of brains and skulls in babies which has called for immediate attention in South America.
Zika virus which is spread by the bite of an infected Aedes mosquito is thought to be linked to congenital brain deformity.
Reported cases of Zika virus infection is allocated to South America and Caribbean countries and territories as health authorities are on their alert over the increasing spread of the deadly disease.
